Non-Smokers' Right Association
- The Non-Smokers' Rights Association is a non-profit health organization that has been at the forefront of tobacco-control efforts in Canada and around the world for the past quarter-century. The NSRA was founded in Toronto in 1974 by Rosalee Berlin, a registered nurse whose allergies made her particularly sensitive to second-hand smoke. It began as a small volunteer group dedicated to achieving clean air for non-smokers.

Malaysia must not be affiliated with the tobacco industry whose main action is promoting products which cause addiction, suffering and death. - According to the World Health Organization, more than half of the people who use tobacco die as a result of its influence. Many people embrace tobacco as a calming agent and a recreational prop. The addictive substance, however, offers many dangers, ranging from heart disease to cancer. The National Cancer Institute reports that tobacco contains at least 28 different cancer-causing chemicals, including nitrosamines. In addition to that, trace amounts of arsenic and acetone are regularly found in tobacco.
